Hustle Wrap: Community 3×3 Street Hustle – Lightsview & Woodville, South Australia

One of 3x3Hustle’s newest licensees, Community 3×3 hosted a 3×3 basketball bonanza over the school holidays with great success.

The next generation of 3×3 ballers took the court at Lightsview’s The Lights Community and Sports Centre on July 12 and Woodville’s St Clair Recreation Centre on July 13 for two memorable 3×3 Street Hustle events.

With age groups ranging from 10 & Under to 18 & Under, 78 teams participated over the two days.

These events marked the first for Community 3×3, which is a dedicated 3×3 brand with an aim to provide outstanding programs and events on a regular basis to the Adelaide community, supporting local associations, clubs, schools and teams.

As demonstrated by these two successful events, Community 3×3 provides an opportunity for the next generation of 3×3 ballers to complete the 3×3 basketball pathway all the way up to the Olympics.

Overall, 3×3 basketball in South Australia is on an exciting trajectory.

Following the success of the inaugural year of NBL1 Central, more young athletes are getting involved in the sport and can now take on the newest format in a fun and exciting way with Community 3×3.

Across the two days, the Adelaide Buffalos had the most success, with their 14 and Under girls taking out their age group title in Lightsview and their 12 & Under boys following suit the next day at Woodville.

Basketball Players also dominated across the two-day tournament, winning the 14 & Under Boys age group on both days.
