3×3 Hustle New Licensee: Warragul Basketball Association
3×3 Hustle is pleased to welcome Warragul Basketball Association as the newest licensee, expanding the growing 3×3 Hustle network into the Gippsland region.
As one of regional Victoria’s leading basketball associations, Warragul Basketball Association has a long-standing commitment to providing inclusive basketball opportunities for players of all ages and abilities. Their strong community focus and passion for growing the game make them a fantastic addition to the 3×3 Hustle family.
Their inaugural event will be 30th September, at the Warragul Leisure Centre for juniors aged from under 9’s to under 19’s.
“We’re really excited to partner with 3×3 Hustle – Australia’s official, FIBA-endorsed 3×3 basketball framework, backed by the NBL and Basketball Australia. It gives our community a genuine pathway from grassroots all the way to representing Australia on the world stage. It’s a chance to introduce a new format that complements both our domestic competition and our representative pathways. We’ll be launching our first tournament in the second week of the September Victorian school holidays, open to everyone in our community. It’s a great opportunity for our players, and we can’t wait to get started,” General Manager, Warragul Basketball Association, Dave Thomas said.
Head of 3×3 Hustle, Jaele Patrick, said the partnership reflects the continued growth of the 3×3 format across Australia.

The partnership will see Warragul Basketball Association deliver official 3×3 Hustle events, providing local players with more opportunities to experience the fast-paced, inclusive and exciting format of the game while connecting into the broader 3×3 Hustle ecosystem.
