NBL 3×3 Pro Hustle Streaming live on Twitch

The 3x3Hustle will not only be a proving ground for the best 3×3 players in Australia, but also a platform for innovation for the NBL.

The final stop of the 3×3 Pro Hustle tour in Darwin will be streamed live on Twitch as well as allowing co-streaming by Twitch users including a number of gaming influencers.

Streaming sport on Twitch is one of the latest frontiers in the ever-changing broadcast landscape, with co-streaming allowing any Twitch user to stream the 3×3 Pro Hustle on their own channel, with their own unique commentary.

The NBL is in the process of exploring partnership opportunities with Twitch to help bolster their emerging live sport strategy which includes the likes of the NBA G League.

The final stop of the 3×3 Pro Hustle will feature commentary from prominent Australian streamers Jarrad HD (Jarrad Nance), ChampChong (Alen Catak) and TheMasterBucks (Jake Buckley).

The NBL continues to evaluate new broadcasting and streaming platforms after successfully partnering with Twitter to stream the 2018 NBL Blitz as well as streaming the NBL1 season on YouTube.

NBL CEO Jeremy Loeliger is currently in the US meeting with Twitch executives to discuss broader opportunities for NBL on the novel platform, which introduces the NBL to an alternative audience not accessible on traditional broadcast platforms, in a way that is more interactive – including allowing co-streaming.

Fans can stream the 3×3 Pro Hustle on their own channels following this streaming guide from Twitch
