Central Coast Waves Basketball Teams with 3x3Hustle

3x3

3x3Hustle has welcomed Central Coast Waves Basketball as their latest licensee, with their first two Street Hustle events to be held in December.

After the recent success of Basketball NSW’s latest 3x3Hustle at Waves home stadium at Niagara Park in October, the latest licensee to join the 3x3Hustle family is excited to see the 3×3 concept grow on the Central Coast.

Central Coast waves Basketball are excited to provide this style of competition/league to their community and beyond.

With their domestic competition growing from strength to strength, Waves are also looking for alternative ways for players to be involved in the great game of basketball and know that 3×3 is an excellent way for players to build fitness, develop, and most of all have fun.

“It’s great to have Central Coast Waves Basketball on board with us, after BNSW’s 3x3Hustle event which was deemed a success out of the Waves home stadium,” Head of 3x3Hustle, Jaele Patrick said.

“We have started to see 3×3 basketball populate NSW and the benefits that each community gets out of 3x3Hustle events. So it’s exciting for Central Coast Waves to be able to provide their community with the opportunity to play 3×3.”

Central Coast Waves will host two twilight events in December including a senior event on Tuesday 12th December and a junior event on Monday 18th December.

The events will run from 6pm AEDT both evenings, the first open to seniors and the second event open to the age groups U10, U12, U14, U16, and U18 both male and female.

Waves Operations Manager, Matt Smith said, “Our team here at Central Coast Waves Basketball are super excited about this step into the 3×3 space and our goal is to make this the home of 3×3 Basketball here on the Central Coast.

“With the sports substantial growth over recent years and the introduction at the Olympics we feel that it’s only fitting that we encourage opportunities for players to develop their game and are excited for our upcoming events.”
