Warriors Fall In Semi-Finals At Spain 3×3 Satellite Event

3x3Hustle team Sydney Warriors put in an impressive effort this weekend, making it to the semi-final stage of the 3×3 II FCBQ Tour in Spain.

Taking part in their second Satellite event in as many weekends, the Warriors went undefeated in the pool stages, taking down AND ONE (22-14), SeaHorses (21-15) and 4 mataos (21-5).

Sydney escaped the quarterfinals with a thrilling victory, defeating Los Manzanillas by two points, 17-15. However, the Warriors stumbled in the semi-finals, losing to LOCKOUT 20-16.

The Warriors were represented by Mike Golding, Ciaron Fitz-Gerald, Cooper Wilks and Jayden Prakash.

FIBA Satellite events sees the winner qualify directly to a future FIBA 3×3 Challenger.

3×3 basketball will make its Olympic debut in 2020 and Commonwealth Games debut in 2022.
