Australian Men Fly Through Pool Stages Of FIBA U18 3×3 Asia Cup

The Australian men are through to the knockout stages of the 2019 FIBA 3×3 U18 Asia Cup, after winning both of their pool stage matches.

In two thrillers, the Aussies took down Kazakhstan 21-20, before defeating Kyrgyzstan 21-13, to stamp their ticket to the quarter final stage.

The squad of Kian Dennis, Sebastian Griffin, Daniel Foster and Jacob Richards will face Mongolia in the quarter final at 4:00pm AEST on Saturday August 24.

The Australian women’s team, consisting of Shyla Heal, Georgia Amoore, Casey Valenti-Paea and Ruby Porter, face Thailand in their quarter final game at 4:40pm AEST on Saturday August 24.

All finals games will be played on Saturday August 24, with the women’s final at 8:20pm AEST, followed by the men’s at 8:40pm AEST.
